Meet Alexis!
Born into a family steeped in creativity, Alexis was immersed in the arts from the very beginning. Her earliest memories are of painting side by side with her grandmother in oils, while also being trained with discipline and grace as a ballet dancer throughout her youth. These formative experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of beauty, expression, and craftsmanship.
Driven by a deep admiration for the arts and a natural gift for creative expression, Alexis went on to study a variety of artistic disciplines, eventually attending the Florence University of the Arts in Italy—an experience that further refined her vision and deepened her love for classical techniques.
Today, Alexis is a professional artist whose work is both an offering and an invitation. Her creative process is intimately woven with her Christian faith; painting serves as a meditative practice through which she experiences the nearness of God. Each brushstroke becomes a quiet celebration of creation, beckoning others to pause, reflect, and delight in the One who made it all.
Alexis lives and works in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where her studio is a space of both solitude and joy. She shares life with her husband and daughter, finding inspiration in the rhythm of family life and the beauty of everyday moments. When she isn’t painting, Alexis can often be found cooking with her sisters, laughing around a kitchen table, or soaking in the warmth of extended family.
